Power Quality Measurement and Diagnostics

The only service with full scope under IEEE 519-2022, EN 50160 and ITIC classification. We run the measurement, interpret the data and recommend mitigation — we do not hand over PDFs without answers.

How we work

Six steps, one actionable report

Class A measurement over 7 to 10 days

We install a Fluke 1770/1775/1777 analyzer (the only ones that are Class A on all channels simultaneously) at the point of interest. Continuous measurement at 10-minute resolution over the period IEEE 519 recommends.

IEEE 519-2022 + EN 50160 assessment

Compliance analysis against Table 1 (voltage) and Table 2 (current) of IEEE 519-2022. Cross-check against EN 50160 for voltage quality. Identification of harmonic sources by spectral pattern.

K-factor and loss calculations

K-factor for transformer sizing. Estimated harmonic losses in cables (skin effect) and transformers (eddy currents).

Events on the ITIC curve

Every recorded sag/swell is classified against the ITIC (CBEMA) curve to determine whether your equipment sat in the damage region, the acceptable region or the prohibited region.

Complete technical report

A Word document with 20+ sections: cover, table of contents, executive summary with green/yellow/red traffic lights, harmonic tables, trend charts, glossary and prioritized recommendations.

Recommendations with Danfoss solutions

If mitigation is needed, we put concrete options on the table: AAF active filters, AHF passive filters, AFE VFDs or a combination. Each option with an estimated cost, payback and alternatives.
