Energization, parameter setup, functional testing with simulated load, safety checks. Documented protocol signed by the client.

Shipping and installation

Packaging suitable for transport, receipt on site, electrical installation, interconnections with existing equipment.

SAT + training

Commissioning under real load, fine-tuning, training for operators and maintenance in Spanish, handover of the as-built documentation.

What we get asked most

Q01 How long does it take to build an industrial control panel?
It depends on the scope. A control panel with 1-2 VFDs plus a PLC goes into production after 1-2 weeks of engineering and is built in 3-5 weeks. An MCC with 8-12 starters takes 8-12 weeks end to end. We give you a realistic schedule with milestones (engineering approved, components on site, fabrication, FAT, shipping) at the first technical meeting.
Q02 What does the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) include?
A complete workshop test before shipping: dimensional and labeling verification, insulation and continuity testing, point-to-point functional testing (PLC I/O against real signals), drive parameter setup, safety testing (emergency stops, interlocks) and a thermal test. We deliver a documented protocol with photos and signatures.
Q03 Do you build motor control centers (MCCs)?
Yes, MCCs from 4 up to 20+ starters. Configurations with direct-on-line (DOL) starters, Danfoss MCD soft starters, or VLT/iC2 drives per column. Busbars sized for the total load, residual-current protection, class II/III SPD at the incomer, and compartmentalization per IEC 61439.
Q04 Do the panels comply with Panamanian electrical codes?
Yes. Designed to the current NEC / RIE, with UL/IEC certified components, an IP rating suited to the environment (IP42 indoors, IP54/65 outdoors or in wet areas) and a coordinated grounding system. We deliver a complete documentation package for approval by SEDE or the utility where that applies.
Q05 Can you build explosion-proof panels for classified areas?
Yes, for classified zones (Class I Div 1/2 or Zone 1/2) according to the hazard assessment. Intrinsically safe instrumentation, Zener barriers, Ex-d enclosures where appropriate. Typical projects: refineries, gas plants, fuel storage. It requires a detailed technical specification before we can quote.
Q06 Do you offer installation and commissioning as well as fabrication?
Yes, a complete turnkey service: interconnection wiring on site, integration with existing equipment, testing under real load (SAT), training for the operating team, and post-commissioning support during the warranty period. We coordinate with your electrician or contractor if you already have one appointed.
